Next, we bring Jeff Rueter to come on and we start with some beer talk. After that he tells his origin story, and it is a fun one. We talk about soccer prior to the folding of NASL and his experiences with the earlier days of soccer in the US. He does share how soccer has changed and why he thinks it did.
After that, Jeff shares his perspective of USL from a national standpoint and how hard it is to cover the league. He mentions how the localized podcasts have helped him get a better perspective on the league.
We then move on to some silliness. We talk about his recent twitter engagement around group chat names and how he uses his 8 word game reviews. If you make it to the end of the podcast, you can find out why these group chat names are important to remember.
