Chris and Veronica get rejoined after the Thanksgiving break to continue talking about New Mexico United’s offseason transactions.

On this episode, Chris and Veronica talk about New Mexico United’s roster moves in full spectrum and welcome John Morrissey of USL Tactics on the show to help unpack some of what new Head Coach/Technical Director Zack Prince may be considering as the days go by.

But first, Chris and Veronica share their reactions of the USL Championship Final between Tampa Bay Rowdies and Orange County SC, make sense of promotion and relegation/calendar change for the USL, factor in how the USL structure will best serve the Women’s game, talk New Mexico United Academy on latest signing and playoffs, and welcome back United’s latest returning player. Veronica shares “why” she knew confidently that Orange County was due to win. Chris, along with many pulling for Orange County had a different sort of feeling. Especially for Chris, it an was Absolut surprise of an evening. Next, Chris breaks it way down on promotion and relegation in a way that will quench your thirst for knowledge and pairs that with what the big deal is for season change on the calendar.

Veronica cracks open the subject of the Super League and W League since we haven’t talked about that yet on the podcast and gives some backstory. More recently, USL Super League President, Amanda Vandervort, whom Veronica talks on, talked about 40,000 collegiate athletes that may hold off on hanging up the boots early. Chris gives a crash course of the USL Academy playoffs while plugging latest United Academy signing and hopes that he gets the call. Furthermore, Chris gives a quick update to the standings of competition. United Academy has a match on Dec 3-4 and plays either a Final or placement match on Dec 5. Lastly, Chris talks latest New Mexico United player resigning and offers up the latest update on Saalih Muhammad.
