Elijah Martin stops by for a chat

On episode 20, we welcome in Elijah Martin to the podcast. Marisa is back and she joins Chris and Alan on this interview. Elijah is one of the most passionate and positive people we’ve ever had a chance to talk with. Elijah opens up about what it is like to be back out on the training pitch. He shares what he has missed the most about training. Next, Elijah talks about how the team has been building. After that, he shares how the team has been building.

The conversation drifted into the topic of football documentaries and series. They chat about “Sunderland ‘Til I Die” and “89”. After that, they talk about some of the debates that have been floating around. Hear Elijah’s take on the European style season versus the playoffs, piped in noise on a broadcast, and coming back with empty stadiums or not.

Elijah then shares some tips of how he maintains his positive outlook. He talks about how he found what worked for him. He also talked about the one thing that most people who don’t know about him. It is for sure worth it to make it to the end to find out what it is.

We want to thank Elijah Martin for sharing his time with us.

The team also celebrate raising $75,000 for Rady Children’s Hospital. With a matching donation the soccer community raised 150k for the hospital. They also talk about Travis Peterson’s artwork changing famous (and not so famous) crests into Loyal inspired crests. Check them out on his twitter page.
