No One But Nava – Talking New Mexico United

Chris and Veronica discuss Cristian Nava’s ambition and how it could shape up during the 2022 regular season for New Mexico United.

Before talking New Mexico United, Chris and Veronica talk give their takes on some USL news. Veronica talks about Charlotte Independence relegating for the youth, Chris goes in on OKC Energy sitting out 2022, and they both try their hand at naming and branding Austin Bold in the event that ownership wanted some early ideas.

Veronica talks about the MLS ecosystem while Chris has a laugh about the Twitter-famous MLS Next Pro logo. Chris breaks the news on Colorado Springs new signing, checks in on Derby del Camino Real rival El Paso with latest departures and their new Head Coach announcement. Next, Chris and Veronica talk about New Mexico United Academy’s final playoff results and listen to post-match audio prior to the 3rd Place Final.

Once Chris and Veronica start talking about Cristian Nava it’s like a full-scale review. Chris figures out what former Head Coach Troy Lesesne meant by “moments” in matches. They wonder what the pro life is like as a teenager and how now-Head Coach Zach Prince will utilize Cristian in tandem with his Coaching Philosophy.
