Defense was scarce in the previous matchup between these sides. Back on July 11th, Energy FC defeated the Lights 6-4 at Taft Stadium. Five different players scored for the hosts and Raul Mendiola bagged a hat trick for Las Vegas.

Opposing Players to Watch

Jose Barril: He is the creator for Energy FC. On the season, he has a club-high nine assists and 56 chances created, 30 more than second best on the team.

Hugh Alexander Dixon: The speedy midfielder has ten goals and four assists. Dixon scored twice in the previous meeting vs. Lights FC.

Christian Volesky: Tied with Dixon for the team-best ten goals, Volesky is a proven scorer in the USL. The target forward is second on the team in aerial duels won and is a tough matchup for any central defender.
