We talk USL with Scott Stewart

We are getting closer to coming back, so what better time to chat with USL’s Director of Communications Scott Stewart. He joined us to talk Liverpool (this was the day before they won the title) and give us a USL update. First, though, Alan, Marisa, and Chris check in with each other. They talk about what is going on locally including Travis Peterson’s sticker and art collection.

Next, they got to know Scott a little bit. Scott gave us his origin story and how he ended up back in soccer. Then, the conversation got into more detail about the reopening of the USL. Scott mentioned some other teams and how big it is for the USL to have teams like Louisville leading on game venues.

After that the talk drifted into food for a bit. I mean, would it be a Fair Weather Podcast without food talk? We talked tacos and cooking at home.

Scott left us with a fantastic message. It was one that spoke to how much USL appreciates San Diego Loyal. It is worth it to make it to the end for his message to you, the San Diego community.

We wrapped up the show with some speculation on which teams would be in our group in the upcoming season. We were mostly right, as the groups were released the next day.

We’d love to thank Scott Stewart for joining us on the podcast. Give him a follow and look for him on Kelsi Steele’s podcast “Steele Some Time”.
