Top of the Table for San Diego Loyal

San Diego Loyal went on the road and got a big three points. This win keeps San Diego Loyal at top of the table. Alan and Marisa break down last week’s action against the defending champions in Real Monarchs SLC. First though, Alan and Marisa check in with each other. Next they discuss the departure of assistant coach Carrie Taylor. They thank her for being an amazing addition to Team 1 as well as discuss the Athletic article discussing her next steps. After that they talk about the new stadium plans as well as new signings.

Next, they move on to the Real Monarchs game. Breaking down both good and bad play, they talk about Grant Stoneman and his emergence as a key player on the team. Marisa and Alan also discuss the lack of scoring that could be a problem moving forward. This could be a challenge in a more offensive minded Group B.

After that, they move on to talk a little about their next match. This time San Diego will be playing Los Angeles Galaxy 2 at home. It will be the first game back in San Diego since the opening match against Las Vegas. There will be a big difference this time. If San Diego gets three points, they will regain their place at the top of the table again.
