It’s not only the chile roasting season in New Mexico, but it’s also nearing the end of the regular season for New Mexico United. Things are getting spicy and plenty were the takes on this episode from the crew at Seek & Strike Collective, but holdfast for the silver lining at the end.

This week’s show was recorded in two segments. Chris Walker and Veronica Zavala recorded on Friday evening into Saturday morning closing out with The Weekly. Chris and Patrick Baca recorded The Enchanted XI earlier in the week without Veronica, who was on a trip from New Mexico back to California. Next week, we’ll be back to normal.
The episode kicks off with Chris and Veronica talking about the huge victory for Orange County SC in terms of their 2023 soccer season. Afterwards, they talk about the importance of the USL Playoff dates jiving with the 2022 World Cup. .
Next, Chris and Patrick bring in the newest segment of The Enchanted XI talking about the last week of Non-Conference play for the four New Mexico colleges. The conversation shifts to the regular season and Chris and Patrick make plans to preview each teams’ season, key matches, and lastly roll out an Offensive/Defensive Player of the Week and Goal of the Month feature for the show.
Finally, Chris and Veronica roll up their sleeves and dig into United’s latest run of form looking back at the last 5 matches talking about lineups they like and lineups that need some adjustment. Chris and Veronica talk about what they saw in Edinburg as United lost to the Rio Grande Valley Toros and drop their third match in a row. The two decode some of Head Coach Zack Prince’s wise words as it relates to approaching match strategy and the path to winning a championship. Lastly, Chris and Veronica talk San Antonio and the looming playoff picture for United.
