San Diego Loyal Soccer Club had their very first first match on Saturday and Alan and Marisa are here to talk you through it. They first check in with each other to see how they are fairing after an important weekend. Marisa talks about her experience walking around the stadium. She got to chat with familiar faces as well as some new ones. Look out for a possible fan experience feature later. Alan talks about what he saw from the Section 109 with the rest of the Locals.
Next, Marisa and Alan break down the game, talking about both the good and bad from San Diego Loyal’s play on the pitch. They talk about what the early goal did to the team, but also how the Adams goal lifted everyone up. They also talked about a big injury and what affect it might have on the next couple of games.
Up next, they highlighted the two games coming up this week. San Diego Loyal will have their first away trip to Tacoma. Alan highlighted Tacoma’s first match and a couple of players to keep an eye on. He also talked about how Tacoma might be a good opportunity to get into the win column early in the season. The second match is against Rio Grande Valley, and how the score line of RGV’s most recent match might be deceiving. They make score predictions for San Diego Loyal vs Tacoma Defiance.
Marisa brings it back to the supporter’s section and how impactful it was to the players. She talks about the general positive response around the league about how great the environment was. She also talks about an upcoming charity opportunity.
