S2 E33: Open Cup Groundhog Day

Hello Colorado Rapids Fans! This week on Holding The High Line, the Rapids are out of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. Womp womp. We start off talking about the United States Men’s and Women’s National Teams in their respective tournaments. The guys then do Good Thing, Bad Thing, Big Thing for the USOC game against New Mexico United. Red breaks down Axel Sjoberg, his form, and what the rest of his season (and beyond) look like. Rabbi has some thoughts on Colorado’s history in the Open Cup and how this result was similar or different.

Then we turn to Saturday’s league match against Vancouver Whitecaps FC. The lads talk about the current state of the Caps, injuries, and international absences. We finish off talking about the timeline of the head coaching search, and an Ask HTHL on the club’s approach to the USOC.
