Racism in College Sports

Black Male student-athletes experience serious discrimination and racism in college sports. Dr. Gabby Yearwood spent several years observing, interviewing, and spending time with Black male student-athletes at an NCAA University. Dr. Yearwood describes their experiences in his 2018 paper. Liz and LauraEllen dig into Dr. Yearwood’s paper and discuss the role of racism in college sports and how it plays into the lives of Black male student athletes and how we can make a difference moving forward.
