Lights Match Preview #30: OC at LV

Las Vegas Lights FC will host Western Conference-leading Orange County SC.

After a thrilling 3-3 draw vs. Reno 1868 FC, Las Vegas Lights FC will look to keep the goals coming tonight. They host Orange County SC at Cashman Field on Industry Night.

Last Time They Met

It was an entertaining midweek match as Orange County topped Las Vegas 3-1 in SoCal. Matty Thomas opened the scoring before OC scored twice before halftime. The hosts added another goal in the second half, despite being down a man due to a red card.

Opposing Players to Watch

Aodhan Quinn: An elite passer, from the run of play or set pieces, Quinn is second in the USL in assists and chances created. He has also added nine goals.

Thomas Enevoldsen: Currently sitting second in the USL Golden Boot race with 17 goals, the veteran striker can beat you from inside or outside of the box.

Noah Powder: While the two previous players have been offensive threats all season, Powder has turned it on recently. After not scoring all season, the midfielder has scored a goal in each of the club’s last three matches, including a Goal of the Week nominee in the video below.
