Jack Metcalf joins FWP for a Special Episode

On a special edition of the Fair Weather Podcast, Alan, Chris, and Marisa chat with Jack Metcalf. Jack talks about his early days of playing in the Liverpool youth system. What it was like putting on that training kit for the first time. He has some fond memories growing up there and playing international tournaments. Jack also talks about transitioning to College in America and what it was like moving away from home.

Next, the team talks to Jack about his transition to the pros with his time in Charlotte and Atlanta. There was even a brief stint to Wales in there too. He also answers what it was like to get some love from the Red’s supporters after scoring the first goal at Torero Stadium during the preseason.

After that, we have some fun with some less serious questions. There’s a great moment when he talks about Football Manager and he gets asked about himself in the game. We talk about what he’s been doing to stay busy, including what he likes to cook and what he looks forward to. Jack’s wife is a nurse and he talks about how important Rady’s is and how he wants to work with that hospital when everything goes back to “normal”.

We really want to thank Jack Metcalf from coming on and chatting with us. He would love to get some suggestions of things to do. This is our first interview in a series of player interviews. Keep an eye out for the next one at BGN.fm.
