An Up and Down Week.

Marisa, Chris, and Alan are back for what was an up and down week. Before they got to the good news of the week, they checked in with each other. This week featured another week of three different states and three different time zones.

Next, they talked about some good news. They sent congratulations to Miguel Ibarra for being named to the USL Team of the Week. After that the highlighted Tumi Moshobane’s good week as well. They lamented that both players couldn’t get recognized.

Another big “up” moment for the team was a new loanee. Douglas Martinez joins San Diego from Real Salt Lake/Real Monarchs. This will hopefully bring in some more scoring and offensive fire power.

Next, they continue the up and down week with the big win over Vegas. They highlighted the youth players and their play on the pitch. Both Ian Mai and CJ Fodrey showed up big in this game. After that, they broke down each half and talked about the up and down game.

After that was the downer part. San Diego gave up a one goal lead and ended up dropping all three points to Orange County. This was not a great way to end the up and down week, but San Diego is right back at it in Sacramento.

The team talked about Sacramento and what fans might expect. Sacramento is deceptively good. They are unbeaten in 7 games and are climbing their way back into the playoff contention.

The team took some questions about the new signings and the impact they have on the team.
