Alan rides solo to recap a long week.

With Marisa moving and Chris swamped, Alan rides solo this week to cover a long week for San Diego. There is a lot of news coming out of San Diego. Some good like Austin Guererro being named to the team of the week. Landon Donovan gets a statue. A fundraiser is back to help fund gender affirming programs at Rady’s.

Next Alan checks in on some not great news. First, it is the pile-up of injuries this last week. Next, it’s the loss to Tacoma. He talks how those injuries and a rotated squad lead to some issues on the pitch. How good is Tacoma at home? You might be surprised.

Later, Alan talks the big win in Los Angeles. First with the positive play of some of the veteran players. Next, he talks about Tumi Moshobane and highlights what made his goal such a fun thing to watch. Then, he highlights defensive start Josh Yaro and keeper Austin Guererro. Yaro came up big to keep the clean sheet, and he and Austin got us a free car wash.

Lastly, Alan previews the Real Monarchs match. He talks about why it’s hard to preview a team like them. He gives some stats to show why this is a big game for San Diego. It should be a fun one. Please enjoy as Alan rides solo on this weeks show.
