A Fortress No Longer

Marisa, Chris, and Alan get together and talk about how Torero is a fortress no longer. They start with their usual check in. This time Marisa is in Tennessee. They chat about what is new with San Diego. Usually they save the food talk for the end, but the trio get sidetracked early with food chat.

First, they check in with the rest of the Pacific. It was a wild week. Games went nowhere near to plan, so the Pacific standings are in a state of flux. San Diego wasn’t the only team that their home fortress is under attack.

After that, the team broke down the loss against Tacoma. They talk how Tacoma followed Real Monarchs in getting their first road win against San Diego. Will Torero ever regain it’s “fortress” moniker.

Lastly, they talk about the week to come. They have two more games coming up and both will be important ones. First up is Vegas. Nobody knows what to expect. After a rough start, they hit a mini hot streak. Their young players, with some leadership mixed in, are a tough team to scout.

After Las Vegas, is Orange County. This will be a huge match-up. OC has been struggling of late and are in a similar situation to San Diego with two games this week. San Diego needs to make Torero a fortress again.
