Chris travels back in time to Sammamish, Washington to hear about Alexa’s hometown. He asked about the lineage of athletes in the Kirton family, what she was like as a young lady, how Hockey fits in, as well as, one of her favorite foods to put ketchup on.

Next, Alexa shares some of her favorite music artists from the 2010s and Chris hits her with some song lyric trivia. This unlocks more of Alexa’s memories about what she wanted to be in life. Chris asks Alexa about her experience attending the Women’s World Cup, taking a picture with the Stanley Cup, and her short-lived basketball career. This conversation leads into her UNM commitment story, falling in love with New Mexico, as well as, Alexa Kirton as the soccer player.

As newly crowned Champions with a 10-1 record, Alexa and her Lobos teammates just found out they will be playing Navy in the NCAA D1 Women’s Soccer Tournament aka The Big Dance. She looks back on the final, reflects on celebrating the win, and talks about going to the tournament.

Lastly, Chris closes out with a trivia game specifically tailored to Alexa’s knowledge of Soccer and Hockey. She passed, but let’s see how many the listeners know. Thank you Alexa for coming on this edition of 1V1.
