We are kicking off a new series on the podcast called 1V1. Our first guest is Alesia Garcia. Alesia plays Forward for the University of New Mexico Lobos Women’s Soccer Program.
Chris talks to Alesia about growing up in Aurora, Colorado and some of her interests when she is not playing soccer. Alesia shares her thoughts about living in New Mexico and what it means to play for the Lobos.
Recently, Alesia broke a 25-year old Lobos record and was named the Mountain West Conference Offensive Player of the Week. She gives her reaction to the accolade and talks about ambitions for the delayed 2020 soccer season that is currently underway.
Lastly, Alesia plays our series-branded game, “1V1” and you know green chile was worked into the game somewhere.
